Our story began with four friends who shared a love for board games. Chrisitne, Nicola, Selene, and Julie have been friends since college, and they have always dreamed of starting their own business together. They were passionate about board games and loved the idea of creating a space where people could gather and enjoy playing games with friends and family.
Over the span of four years of development in research, planning, and designing the perfect space for their vision, the cafe opened its doors in February of 2023. Meeple 4 People is created to create a cozy and comfortable atmosphere where people could relax, play games, and enjoy delicious snacks and drinks. For board game selection, a wide range can be found from classics, competitive, strategic, modern and rare finds, to cater to all types of gamers.
Located in Downtown Vancouver, our cafe is the destination for game lovers. A new community filled with fun and joy is welcomed for all guests . Meeple 4 People also organizes game nights, tournaments, and other events to bring more people together and make the cafe a hub for gaming culture.
